Where :Biopolis, The Matrix, Singapore
When : Sep 21 - 23, 2016
KEY DATES
20 March 2016 Full Paper Submission Deadline
20 June 2016 Demonstration, Highlight and Poster Abstract Submission Deadline
20 July 2016 Acceptance of final full paper versions and abstracts of posters, demos and highlights
On behalf of the Asia Pacific BioInformatics Network (APBioNET), Agency for Science, Technology and Research Singapore (A*STAR) and the Association for Medical and Bio Informatics Singapore (AMBIS), it is our great honour to invite you to join the 15th International Conference On BioInformatics (InCOB 2016), which will be held on the 21th to 23rd of September, 2016 in Singapore.
Since 2002, InCoB has grown in its second decade to become one of the largest bioinformatics conferences in the Asia-Pacific region. This annual conference showcases the latest research and technologies in all areas of bioinformatics, and in recent years has been attended by practitioners from both biology fields and computing backgrounds in the Asia-Pacific region. As in the past, papers in the conference will be published in international, peer-reviewed journals, such as BMC Bioinformatics, BMC Systems Biology, BMC Genomics and PeerJ. Oral and poster presenters will have the opportunity to deposit their slides/posters with F1000 Posters.
As the organisers of InCOB 2016, we sincerely hope that all of you will join us in Singapore for what will definitely become a memorable conference.

WELCOME TO ROCKY 2016!
December 8 - 10, 2016
Welcome to the fourteenth annual Rocky Mountain Bioinformatics Conference, a meeting of the International Society for Computational Biology (ISCB). The organizers hope that you enjoy the program, and find the conference a productive opportunity to meet researchers, students and industrial users of bioinformatics technology.
The Rocky series began fourteen years ago as a regional conference, and has grown into an international program with a spotlight on regional development in the computational biosciences. The presenters of the Rocky conference are scientists representing a broad spectrum of universities, industrial enterprises, government laboratories, and medical libraries from around the world. The meeting is a chance to get to know your colleagues near and far, seek collaborative opportunities, and find synergies that can drive our field forward.
We hope you enjoy the science, the company, and the spectacular scenery of the Rocky Mountains. Welcome!

TBI/CRI joint summits 2017
Where: San Francisco, USA
When : 27 - 30 March, 2017
#KEYDATE
Submission Deadline: September 22, 2016, 11:59 p.m. EDT
We have very recently entered the golden era of biomedical informatics. Clinical and research data has far exceeded our size and complexity comfort levels and, as a result, investment in informatics personnel, computational hardware, and software across academia, government, and industry has never been greater. This comes at a time when biomedical research questions and healthcare strategies have never been more impactful. The Translational Bioinformatics (TBI) conference brings together informatics scientists doing cutting-edge research at the interface of basic and clinical science to advance translation of biological mechanisms to the improvement of healthcare. The 2017 Joint Summits on Translational Science is the only event of its kind that specifically fosters interactions between three informatics communities: translational bioinformatics, clinical research informatics and informatics implementation. Attendees will be exposed to state-of-the-art informatics research and methods with the opportunity to discuss timely challenges with experts across these three disciplines
The field of Clinical Research Informatics (CRI) is rapidly changing, due in part to the availability of large amounts of clinical and genomic data, healthcare consumer involvement and public health concerns. New informatics theories, tools and solutions are needed to accelerate our knowledge discovery, translation, application and implementation of solutions in these areas. The AMIA Joint Summits on Translational Science is the perfect venue to learn about cutting-edge informatics in both the clinical, bioinformatics, and implementation informatics domains and to meet the leaders who are advancing translational science. I¡¯ve attended the Joint Summits for several years now, primarily because I can learn about new and innovative translational informatics research; network with a variety of individuals including new scientists, collaborators and national leaders; see old friends; and enjoy the weather. I am honored and excited to be the CRI Chair for the 2017 Joint Summits and look forward to working closely with the CRI Scientific Planning Committee and AMIA staff to develop next year¡¯s CRI scientific program. I hope you will consider attending the Joint Summit festivities to learn, network and have some fun, next March in San Francisco.
Content for the four-day event includes: invited talks and panel discussions from leaders in the field; exercises to promote networking between new and established implementors and is designed to promote collaboration and small group discussions.
