Lambert-Eaton myasthenic syndrome is a paraneoplastic neuromuscular disorder in which an autoimmune response directed against a small-cell lung tumor crossreacts with antigens in the neuromuscular junction. The estimated prevalence in the European general population is 1/100,000. |
